Lund Mortgage is an Arizona-based mortgage company helping homebuyers navigate the lending process with a personal, educational approach. Malibu West partnered with their team to develop a series of connected TV and social advertisements designed to make the mortgage process feel more relatable, approachable, and possible. Our focus was creating story-driven concepts rooted in homeownership, Arizona, and the gernerational moments behind buying a home. The campaign blended scripted on-camera messaging, original footage, and supporting lifestyle visuals to create flexible commercial assets for use across TV and digital platforms.
The Process
1. Creative Direction + Concepts
We developed four commercial concepts ranging from emotional storytelling to educational messaging, with themes centered around Arizona, homeownership, family/generations of homebuyers, and the first steps of the mortgage process.
2. Scripting + Messaging
We wrote commercial scripts and voiceovers designed to simplify mortgage-related topics while keeping the messaging aspirational, personal, and aligned with the Lund Mortgage brand.
3. Production + Filming
We led filming with Lisa Lund, capturing on-camera segments, interviews, lifestyle footage, and additional B-roll to support the campaign concepts.
4. Video Editing
We combined original footage, voiceover, interview soundbites, and supporting visuals into polished commercial assets formatted for connected TV and social media.
5. Distribution-Ready Assets
Final videos were prepared in multiple formats so the campaign could extend across connected TV and digital advertising placements.
